August 20, 2005 Derby Results

It was a very successful derby! Almost everyone caught fish and the weather was great. We had 7 participants including Mary and I.  We had a nice hot dog BBQ during the derby. Mary and I are using the BBQ and serving of food as our excuse for doing so poorly in the derby. The final scores are below: . Steve Gibbons stayed and fished until dark catching 16 more carp for a grand total of 23 carp including his derby fish. There were over 50 carp caught off our seawall for the day! Steve's son Sean, got a really nice surprise when a 14 lb carp grabbed his plastic worm on his bass rig.
