Went out for an early start with James on saturday and going was slow until about 8am onwards when it kicked off i got a take and landed 17.6 lookin up, the action was sure and steady right up till about 2pm  i clocked up another 3 high doubles, 2 low doubles , 1single around 5lb and to cap it all 2 twentysincluding one of 28lb 4oz which is now my U.S Pb to say i'm chuffed is an understatement and the 2nd 20 went 24.12 as far as bigger fish in one session goes its about the best ive ever had, unfortunatley dropped a couple too, which James also suffered with he did end up putting a low 20 on the bank though  which made 3 between us. Turner the wonder dog kept watch over the scene and stayed well away from the method mix, also nice from the point of view that it rained most of the morning so the gear got wet but came out sunny later and got it all dry to go home  Grin

Well done Mick and James. Great photo Mick. Thumbs Up!

I wish the fish would start up here. Every time the water starts to warm up, we get another cold front and it goes back down. Angry

Thanks Ed and everyone, one of the things about the weather going hot and cold lately is that the cold snaps are getting shorter so the water temp is going up slowly but theyre definitly waking up, i also got a few inc a 26lbr the week before.
